Our school is threatened with closure

School represents the major factor in a childs life that can change his perspective about the world. Only by it's simple existence it improves the childs social skills by introducing him in a group of  children along with whom he will grow up establishing friendships and strong relatioships.
But the most important thing a school can offer is the so valued education. The education acts like a chisel shaping the young and unexperienced mind  preparing it for the great unknown.
In order to save our school and along with it our education we can come up a number of metods through which we will out schools raise money. On one hand, taking into coinsideration the big number of students that come at our school a small fee would be easily accepted amongst them, thinking that it is cheaper than moving to another school. Another way would be organising fund-rasing contests that will take place between our students. The different passions and talents of our colleagues including sports or arts will be put to a test in these contests, determining the winner will be decided by a small council made from experienced people.
On the other hand, an option will also be requesting funding from the goverment. The impressive results of our students throughout the recent years  will be the the main argument for getting funding in these hard times. We will  manage the money wisely using it to create a pleasant enviroment and to fill the laboratories with the adequate materials that are much needed.
All in all, the fund-raising activities or the goverment are viable solutions for our problems. If some of the points mentioned are taken into consideration I strongly believe our school will no longer be in a crisis.

This school is going to die!

We all remember that day. That day in which we all heard the noise. It was so strange, powerful and somber, it seemed to be piano notes but not classical ones, it was as someone was smashing the keys in order to make the strangest, loudest noise possible. Immediately after we left school, we heard the local government decided to shut it down because of this.

To begin with, I believe that before taking such a critical decision, the government and authorities in charge with the operation should have at least looked into the situation in order to determine the source of the noise. As I have taken this responsibility upon myself, helped by some of my colleagues, we have determined that there is no piano in our school. Therefore, the only logical and plausible explanation for the strange noise is that Cthulu wants to enter the world again. Closing the school will not affect his arrival.

Secondly, there is more to Cthulu than what one might think. Even though he is known to be the destroyer of worlds and the eater of souls, there is also a very, very slight chance that he comes to our world with good intentions. Although this is highly unlikely, we must definitely consider the possibility and also prepare for his arrival. Mythologists recommend bloody sacrifices, as Cthulu finds carnage and massacres enjoyable.

All in all, I believe that even if the noises come from Cthulu wanting to come to our world, there is no reason in closing the school as this will not stop him from arriving. It will only deny more than a thousand students the education they are in dire need of.

Nowadays school has become not only the place where children can develop cognitive skills but where they can learn how to deal with their life as future adults. Kids must learn how to raise their self esteem, how to identify their emotions, to be tolerant, how to manage with difficult situations or how to deal with frustrations. These things are sometimes more valuable than superior knowledge. First of all, we can suggest some ideas that can help our school raise money. For example, our students would be very happy to organize fund-raising activities such as "Blind date with a book" where students can buy books but not knowing the title or any other details, or a little fair on Christmas or Easter. Our students are very creative and can come up with great ideas! Another way to deal with this situation is to persuade the government to step in. The quality of the life of a community is made by the quality of the offered school education. The government can finance our school and we can pay important taxes. This way, the school will not get closed and students can get the education they are entitled to. On the other hand, we can always charge a small fee for each student. Our students would rather pay a small amount of money each month than moving to another school, thing that can be hard for some of us. Therefore school will be made more self-sufficient but the additional costs for the books and other materials will be supported by the student. In conclusion, I think that we can find many ideas that would help us improve our school situation. It would be great if some of the points mentioned above were taken into consideration.

Nowadays, education is one of the most important factors of a child’s life. While our college is among the best in the country and also there are many others colleges that do not accomplish as many requirements as ours, it still seems to be threatened with closure. The reason why this is happening is most likely the fact that lately there have been recorded a fairly large number of scandals. As a consequence, not only were there so many expelled students, but also the school was proposed to be closed. Have you ever wondered what the students’ lives would be without their school?
First of all, one way to deal with the situation would be to ensure that the school is well guarded. Several reliable guards could prevent these incidents to happen again and, as a result, students will not be tempted to provoke such incidents.
In addition, another problem seems to be the decreasing number of students who want to study at this college. It is nobody’s fault that there is insufficient population in the city in order to fill all the vacancies provided by the school and here I refer again to people who want to attend this college. The problem could be solved by trying to make the college become more popular among middle school students. In order to fulfill this requirement, you could present all the facilities and the advantages that the college provides, advertising it as much as you can. The effect of this would be that people would become more informed and the chances for the college to have many students will be increased.
One final suggestion, which could help enormously, is to change the attitude of the teachers and also of the students. Only a good communication between these two parts will lead to a better school life.

To sum up, there are several measures which could be taken to improve the situation and I think that closing down the college is not the best option. Should we not, therefore, be thinking about solving the problem instead of choosing the easiest way-the school closure?

School threatened with closure

School is one of the most important experiences in every child’s life. This is why it is hard to think that financial reasons lead to such an extreme option of closing our school. In time, it has become part of the identity of this neighbourhood and maybe it is time for everyone to react.

Firstly, people should not forget that there children’s future is at stake. It would not be very convenient for them to have their children enrolled at schools far away from home. This is why , they should ask the major to find some resources so that the school will be more profitable in the future, then any other form of improving the quality of people’s life.

Secondly, if this school closes, there will be a lot of students who will give up education as they will not have the necessary means to go to another school. The result will be dramatic for them as they will not be able to find a good job. Nowadays, when competition is so tough all students must be encouraged and supported to continue learning in order to become good professionals in what the chose to do. In a few years’ time they will be capable to help this country progress.

What is more, the good results of our students have always been one of the best advertisements for our town. Since the school is threatened with closure we can hardly expect to listen to people from other towns speaking highly of our town. Good results will be achieved only if the school continues its activity. The best students will turn into fantastic ambassadors of the region.

All in all, closing a school will never have a good outcome or solve the economical failure of a country.  There is no better investment then the investment in people mostly when they are young and enthusiastic.

                                                  Schools Threatened With Closure

Nowadays, school has become an essential element of one's life.  The world where we live requiers qualified people which are formed only in organized and well-structured systems called schools. But what happens to those children who are deprived of education? The closure of the "Primary School nr. 3 " is a matter that we, students, try to deal with, by finding few suggestions that can bring the school at the level it was before or even above.

First of all,one of the problems our school is facing is the lack of funds. Due to this shortcome the studens are deprived of sources that can bring an income of information such as books, auxiliary materials, e-learning programs, laboratory equipment etc.  One way to deal with the situation would be to organize school fund-raising actions like cake sale during breaks or arrange an activity of the type bring-and-buy sale with the purpose of selling old toys, clothes and books. Steps should also be taken in charging a small fee for each student monthly.

Secondly, one major fact that influences the closure of the school is the lack of public means of transpot. There are many studens who walk kilometers per day in order to arrive at school. This woud not be such a big problem if there were not for the external factors that disrupt the daily "walk" such as low temperature or bad weather conditions. Because of this drawback, students are often being late or even skipping classes. One suggestion, which would help enormously, is to make attempts of addressing the problem to government. If this deficienty is solved, the rate of presence at school will increase considerably.

To put it in a nutshell, our school is confronting with serious issues that mustn't be ignored! If the measures mentioned above are taken into consideration the situation could improve and the school will provide better conditions for students.

                           Schools threatened with closure

In recent years, due to the weak economy, the number of  colleges that are threatened with closure has increased alarmingly.  If we want to avoid the closure of schools and colleges, the following suggestions should be taken into consideration.

One way to combat this problem would be to charge a small tuition fee for each student. Only students from poor or broken families could be excluded. Some more money could be raised by organizing charity events like sales of home-made cakes and cookies as well as preparing Christmas and Halloween cards or hand-made jewelry. What is more, some classrooms could be rented to language schools to organize various language courses.  This would make the school more self-sufficient.

Another solution is to persuade the government to step in.   It could help by paying some taxes or giving some money to school in order to get rid of some debts because the future of our country depends on the education of today’s youth. In this way young people will get the education they are entitled to.

In conclusion, if the measures mentioned above are taken into consideration, the situation could be considerably improved and the schools will be saved.

Fighting for One’s Education

Education is one of the most important issues nowadays, but despite its utmost significance, less people actually do pay attention to today’s learning system and needs. Therefore, as a student representative, I want to raise an alarm over the fact that our college is threatened to closure as a consequence of city hall’s decision.
First of all, measures should be taken in order to overcome the lack of funding in our college, which represents a major issue. However, one possible way to eradicate this problem would be organizing some fund-raising activities such as various scientific/humanities clubs with entry tax or local contests, and workshops. It would be of great benefit charging students with a small fee that will probably cover some of the debts or improve the quality of equipment in laboratories or classrooms.
Secondly, the number of students attending the classes is of great importance in improving the situation or not. There is a major problem in the area due to the fact that most of the students drop out of school or refuse having an education. As a consequence, teachers have less opportunities and chances of getting employed and also the sums allocated to the college are in continuous descend. Therefore, people should focus their attention on creating appealing learning conditions or developing different programs that will attract students and increase their interest in schooling.  Our college has always remarked itself with bright students, therefore it will be of major use if children/teenagers will get proper education. Closing down the school will result in limiting one’s right to shaping his/her future life, career, in gaining general knowledge and fulfilling one’s dreams.

To wrap up, the effect of this dramatic and mostly unjustified decision will be negative; consequently, the situation could be considerably improved if the suggestions mentioned above will be taken into account and some of the measures put into action; the result will be therefore satisfying considering that there will always be a constant need for education and educated people.

Schools Threatened With Closure

Schools threatened with closure are a problem becoming more and more common. This issue should concern the local council as well as the school boards.

First of all, most schools are going to be closed because of the reduced number of students attending the classes there. This is because a part of them went to college or moved to a better school. One recommendation would be to advertise the school and focus more on its assets. In this way, more people will notice the advantages of learning there and the number of students will increase.

To continue with, the popularity of the school is affected because of the poor facilities offered. The gymnasium is in very poor condition, the library lacks diversity and the laboratories are in dire need of a technological upgrade that will bring the latest gadgets to it. Steps should be taken to improve all these facilities so that the school gains back its prestige.

Last but not least, all these problems that led to the degradation of the school come from the lack of money. This is why the local council and even the government should be persuaded to step in and sponsor the affected schools. After obtaining this money, it should be invested in modernising the whole school.

In conclusion, should the above mentioned be implemented, any school can get another change and can be rehabilitated in order to be an ideal place for education.

Save Colby School

Due to lack of funding, The Colby School is threatened with closure. Since this is an essential institution for the community, they are ready to gather and contribute to its rehabilitation.

One way of dealing with this problem would be to persuade the government to step in. By doing so, the problem of paying the debts and taxes would be solved. The school would still have to find opportunities for receiving money for future plans. This could come from different sources like funding EU projects. This way, students would continue to get the education they are entitled to.

Another suggestion is to hold fund-raising activities like balls or fairs. Those could bring a sufficient amount of money for the expenses that the school needs to cover. A disco night or selling cookies and brownies might turn out to be a great business. Considering this is to the advantage of both students and teachers, the support will be granted. As a result, the money raised could be used in order to help the school.

Furthermore, each student could be charged a small fee. Although it is not too big an effort for each student to contribute, taken as a whole, the result would be considerable and would lead to a great improvement. By doing this, the school can be more self-sufficient and support a part of its expenditure.

In conclusion, if the measures mentioned above were taken, the situation could be remedied and the school would be saved. In addition to this, by building a stronger community for saving it, the school might even progress and be transformed into a leading one.

                                                         Threatened Schools

Nowadays,  there are many colleges that are threatened with closure. The most important reason of this is that these places lack money.  The following suggestions should be taken  into consideration so as to avoid the closure of schools or colleges.

One suggestion would be the school to hold fund-raising activities. This way, students could make various projects where team work is necessary, like a costume contest for Halloween or Christmas. Every participant and even every organiser will have to pay a sum of money that will allow them to organise or to take part in the activity. What is more, students could make some posters to announce the activities so the entire school will know about them. These  projects will prove to be successful if a large amount of money will be raised, money that will solve part of the school's problems.

Another way to combat this situation would be to persuade the city government to step in. Being such a well-known and beloved school, the government could help it by paying some important taxes or giving some money to school in order to be able to get rid of some debts. In this way, the school will have to take care of the teachers' salaries to be given in time. Therefore students could get the education they are entitled to

Last but not least, charging a small fee for each student per year might help the school. Everyone who wants to study in a school that is being threatened with closure, should be asked to pay some money in order to have books, materials and technology. Extra books or extra courses will be also paid by students. This way, the school will be made self-sufficient.

In conclusion, it can be seen that there are a few ways for your school to avoid being closed, should these suggestions be acted upon as soon as possible.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing on behalf of the students at Tipton College that I am representing. As you might already be informed, our school is threatened with closure and we are trying to do our best to avoid this to happen.

One the one hand, the first problem is the lack of materials such as maps, textbooks, video projectors, etc. The students might feel motivated to learn better and with more pleasure if our school were provided with such compulsory materials. I suggest as a solution to this problem to introduce some fund raising activities in our college. These activities might include plays, dance shows, fairs on different themes, etc. as a modality to raise money. This could also make our school more self-sufficient and it is an original manner to discover new talents among our students.

An another way of raising money for improving the facilities of our school is to charge a small fee for each student for every year. My opinion is that they should be conscious that if they want a better environment to learn into, they have to participate both to activities and to donating money to the school’s fund.

On the other hand, more and more students from our school tend to skip classes, mostly because they are getting bored and believe that the classes they are attending to are not interesting at all. They also consider the fact that there is nothing that could make them pay attention to the classes. One solution would be to have some security guards standing at all the doors of the school checking whether the students intent to skip their courses and to stop them from doing this. However, this cannot be possible without the government’s help as paying the security guars is beyond our possibilities.

I hope that my suggestions will be taken into consideration and that our situation will improve without being necessary to close our school. Thank you in anticipation!

                                                                                                                     Yours faithfully,

                                                                                                                          Olivia Connor

Save Riverdell School!

Because of the global financial crisis, Riverdell School has not sufficient funds to give the teachers their salaries. As a consequence, Riverdell School is threatened with closure, this being a great problem for the students who study there.

One way to deal with the situation would be to persuade the British government to step in. It might pay the school`s debts and all the taxes, at least for a couple of months. In this way, the school has to pay only the teachers` salaries that do not consist of a very large amount of money. Therefore students could get the education they are entitled for.

Another measure that should be taken is to charge a small fee for some students. The respective student`s family should be required to have a certain capital per year. If a student has a smaller capital, he does not have to pay that fee. Consequently, the salaries will not be a problem anymore and furthermore the school will be made more self-sufficient.

One final suggestion, which would help enormously, is to hold fund-raising activities. For instance, the school can organize balls where students would have to purchase tickets. As a result, the students would find it a good way to have fun and it is also an excellent way to raise money.

All in all, there are several measures which should be taken in order to save Riverdell School and it would be great if the suggestions mentioned above were taken into consideration.
