I remember this day,a full, crowded day. Everyone was coming with big bags at school, holding carefully the apple pies. The stress was even bigger, because everything had to be perfect. We arranged all the tables to the wall,in order to show the "creations" to our teacher and other classmates. A soft warm smell, coming from the custard, made us even more hungry. Unfortunately( for our poor stomach:( ),we had to wait for every group to present and tell more about how they had organised each step, recipes they had found and of course, the fun they had had. While I was looking at every pie,my desk became full of plates with different slices ready to be eaten. I sat down and began. There wasn't any pie tasting the same as the previous one. Everyone sat down now and also began to eat and decide which group did the best. In conclusion,we came up with the idea that everyone worked hard and everyone deserved loud applause. We took pictures, laughed, ate, had fun and promised we would repeat this again, because working in groups gathered us and made us feel closer to each other.
I miss that cinnamon taste... Otilia, our pies were the best :)
ReplyDeleteThat is not true! Our pie was the best!:)
ReplyDeleteActually, our was the best!!! :)) and that's how we find out that all were the best :)
ReplyDeleteWell done, Otilia. You managed to describe the atmosphere of our fisrt Halloween in highschool :x.I think we should organize similar events on other accasion , maybe Christmas...;;).This was just the beginning ;),I think we can do better next time :X.
ReplyDeleteoccasions , sorry:">
ReplyDeleteBianca Catalina Bodnar:I can't tell that our pie was the best:)), but I think that everyone worked hard and had a lot of fun and we are waiting for our next project that I think will be great .I'd like to make traditional Christmas food...we will have a lot of fun. Imagine that we will make sarmale and Christmas cookies or Christmas pudding. I'm waiting for Christmas and I'm sure that everyone is waiting for it.
ReplyDeleteFrankly, I think all the pies were very good. Definitely we should do this again! >:D<
ReplyDeleteI agree with you Diana Tanase. :))
I can say that all pies were the best. Important is that we had fun, we got into the Halloween atmosphere, we made jokes and laughed. In addition, we felt like a big family. What could be better? I hope we will continue with these activities and other occasions!
ReplyDeleteI think that Halloween is a misunderstand holiday. The entertainment and jokes that are specific for this celebration represent a trick that hides beneath its mask serious things. You can see this if you study its origins. If you are interested in finding out more about this, visit http://fillthevoid.org/Occult/TenReasonsChristiansShouldNotCelebrateHalloween.htm.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed cooking with my classmates very much. We had a lot of fun doing this. I can`t tell which pie was the best because I couldn`t taste all of them.Although this holiday gave me a stomachache because I ate a lot, I think I had a great experience and I hope we`ll have more activities like this.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed a lot this project =). I love cooking and cooking with my classmates was extremely fun! At the end of the day I was exhausted but I can't wait to do this again! ^_^
ReplyDeleteI agree with you and I think that the American Apple Pie project developed our talent of little chefs. I hope we'll have soon other cooking activities in order to have fun together.
ReplyDeleteAnca Elvadeanu: "Well, that project was great. We had fun, ate, laughed and we made photos. Our costumes were so beautiful and all the pies were so delicious.I'm looking forward another funny homework :)".
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for our next project,I'm really sorry I wasn't able to participate at this one.I love our English classes and I find them very exciting. :)
ReplyDeleteI had a stomach ache!!! Still, the pies were too good not to eat them :"> . Great work guys! Next time we'll do some pumpkin pie. Who knows?
ReplyDeleteIt has been a really "delicious" project;)
ReplyDeleteI honestly didn’t expect project be such a success! I liked everything about it, from the ingredients hunt to the pie baking and tasting everything at school .I believe the idea of inviting the school’s Principal to our event to be very inspired. I want to offer thanks to our beloved English teacher for coordinating us into organizing everything! :-)
ReplyDeleteIt's been a pleasure to work with my colleagues in the making of a, and let's admit it, amazing apple pie. ;) They were all great though. And I know really, @Razvi, I couldn't eat anything else that day. XD
